Compete in a Turkey Trot 5K in Virginia

Are you looking to get out and enjoy Thanksgiving a little different this year? It is never a bad idea to change things up and try something new. That is why we think you should run in a Turkey Trot this year. If you are interested, there are a couple great runs that will be happening on Thanksgiving Day (November 24th) all around Virginia that has your name written all over it!

Thanksgiving Run

Join in on the fun and adventure of the turkey day trot

Alexandria Turkey Trot: Located at George Washington Middle School in Alexandria, this run is happening between 10am and 5pm. Also, this race will be accepting food donations for the people in need all around the city.

Arlington Turkey Trot/5K Fun Run and Walk: Located at Christ Church of Arlington, the run will begin at 8am. The run/walk will benefit three different Arlington charities.

Viginia Run Turkey Trot: Happening in Centerville, this race will be starting at the Virginia Run Community Center at 8am. The race and proceeds will be benefiting Living with Cancer, a non-profit organization that enhances the quality of life of those affected by cancer.

Joining in one of these Virginia runs is good for you and for the charitites involved. So, help out and compete in a 5K run/walk around Leesburg this Thanksgiving!
