Many people like packing up picnic lunches and celebrating the 4th of July at parks, going to local events and festivities, and being out with friends and family all day. But  instead of tracking down something to do in town, bring the fun to the Metropolitan by having a 4th of July party in your apartment instead. If you host a party for the 4th of July, there are things you can to do help make sure it is successful.

Keep it simple. You don’t have to have tons of people at your party, or have a live band and catered music. All you need is your close friends and family for it to be fun.

Decorate. The 4th of July is easy to decorate for. Red, white, and blue balloons and streamers will do the trick, or you can get American flag themed decorations from a party store to make your apartment look a little more patriotic.

Enjoy your party! Hosting a party means you have things to do to keep the party running smoothly, but be sure to take time to talk to your guests and enjoy your food, too!

What tips do you have to throwing a successful apartment party?
